In this latest instalment to the Troublemaker series, “The Fight Comes from Anyone”! Three years after Troublemaker 2, Jayakarta still stands under a long-standing political dynasty, but the people are starting to fight back. Citizens, stars, gangsters, and even those within the justice system unite in this fun open-world action-comedy beat-’em-up game.
Gamecom Team’s signature action-comedy franchise returns with political satire inspired by various issues in Indonesia over the past few years.
Since its debut, Troublemaker has been known as an action-comedy game that combines over-the-top action, absurd humour, and parodies of various social issues in Indonesia. This time, Gamecom Team is taking that approach into a bigger arena: politics. As the final chapter of the trilogy, Gamecom Team wants to tackle issues that resonate with Indonesian society, particularly younger generations who have to navigate the social and political dynamics surrounding them.
“From the beginning, Troublemaker has always been about making fun of the social issues around us. For the third game, as the conclusion of the trilogy, I wanted to tackle something that genuinely makes us Indonesian teenagers scratch our heads. And looking at the past few years, there’s certainly no shortage of political issues we can parody,” said Nanda Gamecom, Game Director of the Troublemaker series.
Through Troublemaker 3: Fallen Dynasty, Gamecom Team aims to preserve the franchise’s identity as an action-comedy series that fearlessly turns the absurdities of real life into comedy. This time, the political dynamics and controversies that have shaped Indonesia over the past few years serve as inspiration for satire delivered through the distinct perspective of Troublemaker.
Further information about the game, including its confirmed release date and all planned platforms, will be announced in 2027.
