In Game 2, Neaklet went for a fast Lair after his natural expansion, followed by a Spire to prepare Mutalisk harassment. Runner started with a standard Fast Expansion (Double Nexus) and built Cannons in both his main and natural base to prepare for Mutalisks.Runner successfully defended against the Mutalisks with multiple Cannons and Corsairs. Runner was clearly in a favorable position, as Neaklet's additional expansion was delayed considerably. However, both players gave each other plenty of time, pushing the match into the late game; Zerg managed to produce Ultralisks, while Protoss maxed out at 200 supply with ground forces.

Seizing an opportunity by pushing back Ultralisks in the center, Runner pulled his forces back right when he had a timing to end the game. Unable to overcome the massive gap, Gosudal surrendered Game 1 to Captain Jack. In Game 2, Captain Jack went for a Double Nexus once again.
