Bloober Team has sprung a surprise update for Cronos: The New Dawn today on both PC and consoles, and this adds a highly requested feature.
Players will see Cronos: The New Dawn update 1.011 available for download now, and this is a small file across consoles and PC (200 MB).

Cronos: The New Dawn Photo Mode Added on October 26
Update: The dev team has released the official patch notes, and the update adds more than just the Photo Mode.
- HDR Improvements:
Balanced black and white levels to make full use of the HDR range. - Cutscene Skipping:
Added the ability to skip choice-based cutscenes. - Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the Warden was missing after the Ascension cutscenes. - Photo Mode:
Added Photo Mode.
Original Story:
Bloober Team has announced the update on X (formerly Twitter), and says, “Photo Mode just dropped in #CronosNewDawn with a free update on PC and consoles!”
The studio adds, “Capture every thrilling moment with various camera settings, screen filters, and fun stickers! We cannot wait to see your spooky snapshots!”
Alongside the new Photo Mode addition, another thing to look forward to is the Lazarus DLC, which releases this fall.
Info about Lazarus:
In Cronos: Lazarus, players will be able to wield the Warden’s power in this “combat-heavy” expansion. The description adds, “Teleport, strike, and outrun a relentless hunter as you race to revive a lost Essence before the Collective closes in on you. Cronos: Lazarus is a brutal new chapter to the Cronos: The New Dawn story. Step into the boots of the Warden and experience a faster, more aggressive style of combat as you fight to complete a mission the Collective must never uncover.”
Key Features
- Play as the Warden — Protagonist long-requested by fans
- Origins of the Legend — Pathfinder transforming into The Warden
- The Missing Link — Uncover lingering mysteries from the base game
- New Weapons & Abilities — More means for traversal and combat
- Fresh Gameplay Scenarios — New challenges and obstacles
- Relentless Enemy — Outrun the powerful Tracker
